#TowerPoppies in London – honoring those who lost their lives in WWI

This is quite amazing…I didn’t know London did this. Over 800,000 ceramic poppies planted for each individual who lost their life in WW1 – all displayed in the moat of the Tower of London. The poppies were purchased by individuals at £25 each (a fundraiser done to benefit 6 armed forced charities) and will be “picked” by volunteers afterwards and shipped to them. I’ve got to see this one day myself.
